I just had this happen! I guess I was luck as they downloaded a bunch of my photos onto their blog but they also gave attribution (and Jana translated the spanish for me…it was mostly just attribution stuff). Nevertheless I was a bit perturbed and send an email in English asking that it be taken down. It’s still up. Must be something in the air…

Lots of good information here. It is so prevalent. I don’t know that I would ever know if anyone used any of my images unless I accidently bumped into them.
I have in the past used an image from an image search, I gave attribution and contacted the source…never heard from the person.
Also…the flying dog is priceless!

Great photo – it really captures the dogs energy and also how much of life happens away from the central focus of our eyes! Interesting points about image copyright – the internet has made things much more complicated.
