Lovely Jane Poe tagged me with a meme about middle names, which fits well with this week’s Sunday Scribbling’s prompt of my name is…
The object of the middle name game is to list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. (If you don’t have a middle name, use the name you would have liked to have had!)
When you are tagged you need to write your own blog post containing your middle name game facts. At the end of your blog post choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag.
There’s more to each of us than our names. We are all the thoughts, beliefs, quirks, experiences, dreams, lessons, and ideas that comprise a human being. Here are a few tidbits about me …
I am going to go with the name Quelyns; which is a name an old bf used to call me. And I am going with quotes to explain the words for the letters… and I am choosing blogs with letters in the blog names rather then the person’s name. I am a rule-breaker.
Q is for Questions… “I beg you… to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything, live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.” (Rainer Maria Rilke)
U is for Unique… “Nobody can be exactly like me. Even I have trouble doing it.” (Tallulah Bankhead)
E is for Expression… “To stifle creative expression is to bind and gag our very souls.” (Curtis Verdun)
L is for Lines… “A line is a dot that went for a walk.” (Paul Klee)
Y is for Yellow… “They call me mellow yellow. Quite rightly.” (Donovan)
N is for Nature… “I am at two with nature.” (Woody Allen)
S is for Serendipity… “Serendipity. Look for something, find something else, and realize that what you’ve found is more suited to your needs than what you thought you were looking for.” (Lawrence Block)
So in keeping with choosing one person for each letter I will tag the following blogs…
Q – Qazse! wrestling with congruency…
U – bUtwaittheresmore! Matchmaker & Storyteller…
E – spiritualanecdotEs! finding the spiritual practices hidden in stories of everyday life
L – dispatchfromLa! busy making a mess in a visual journal and stirring up trouble in the neighborhood…
Y – hYsterialane! Mother of one , wife , artist and lover of life…
N – flaNdersinside! Observing, experiencing, photographing, communicating…
S – mSmamma! Ms.Mamma tiptoes through the tulips and the turds with her bambino Snowflake and their faithful dog, The Chidler…

I love your picture, lovely fresh green. I love raindrops too, when I’m not out in them!
That’s really beautiful. I love being out in the rain. Thanks for bringing me there! The Eurythmics lines bring back some great memories.
That’s a lovely shot of the raindrop holding on to the leaf.
Wonderful! I love all the quotes as well (the Woody Allen is my fav!) Big hugs to you my rule-breaking friend
xx, JP/deb
Lovely photo of the leaf and rain drop.
Your entry for WS is great! Nice timing for the dew drop. And I love that Eurythmics song yearsss ago.
Ascender- What a lovely photo and tag. I feel like a total wanker because I just posted something that completely bristles the Rilke quote you posted. Ah, I have to laugh. You got it. Will get to it shortly!

I am sitting in my study writing this and the rain is pouring down like a monsoon outside. How apt!
