While working for her Associates of Fine Arts degree in interior design, Jacquelyn was vice president of the student American Society of Interior Designers; spending ten years doing both contract and residential perspective renderings/interior design. During this time she rendered watercolor pieces of design concepts; later she created black and white sketches for real estate promotion and sales.
Her background in creating perspective renderings became the backbone of her technique as she expanded her horizons to that of an award-winning graphic and fine artist mastering pointillism, dry pastels, oil pastels and mixed media. She has held four exhibits of her personal work, and each time has successfully blended her powerful vision with a variety of artistic media and form. The development of the Scatterlings© line is an accumulation of these experiences.
She continues to create a wide variety of watercolors. Occasionally Jacquelyn will agree to take a commissioned portrait of a home; a wonderful way to celebrate a home's character and importance which will become a treasured keepsake for generations. Contact Ascender© for pricing.
